Bayern Munich Transfer News and Rumours Tracker: Week of October 13
Bayern Munich have been forced to play second fiddle to the media storm surrounding the German national team this week after an unexpected defeat to Poland on Saturday.
Things may be comfortable around the Bavarian club at the moment, but Joachim Low's side look on the brink of crisis and have therefore demanded the attention of news agencies and journalists across the continent.
Of course, that's not to say Bayern haven't found themselves among the column inches and across the front pages this week.
Here's the best of all the news and transfer rumours concerning Pep Guardiola's champions.

Mesut Ozil on His Way to Bayern
1 of 2
Mesut Ozil is desperate for a move away from Arsenal and back to Germany, and Bayern look like the ideal destination, according to reports in the English media.
Via Rob Shepherd in the Daily Mail on October 12: "The Football Grapevine understands the Germany star has grown increasingly unhappy at the Emirates, not least because he is not being played in his preferred forward floating role by Arsene Wenger."
Shepherd suggests that as little as £30 million could tempt Arsene Wenger into selling him come January.
The German international was recently ruled out of action for the remainder of the year, following a knee injury he discovered while on international duty.
He could well be fit and ready for any such move come January.
Brendan Rodgers Convinced Emre Can to Snub Bayern
2 of 2
Former Bayern youth prodigy Emre Can has stated that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers convinced him to leave Germany and come join his side in England.
As reported by James Pearce in the Liverpool Echo (h/t the Daily Mirror) on October 11, Can stated that he had little intention of returning to the Bavarian club:
"There were some discussions with Bayern this summer but I decided the best thing for me would be to accept the opportunity to come to Liverpool.
Before I came here I had discussions with Brendan Rodgers and that made my mind up. From those talks I was very positive about this move.
This whole club is very ambitious and positive about how it wants to play football. That’s the way I want to play football too.
Liverpool believe in the same things and that’s why I came here. I want to stay here for a long time.
"
Unlike such stars as David Alaba, Toni Kroos and Philipp Lahm, Can now looks unlikely to return to the German champions after playing elsewhere for a number of seasons.
