USA Women vs. Korea Republic: Date, Time, Live Stream, TV Info and Preview
The United States women's national team continues its friendly tour with the first of two matches against South Korea. The Americans are coming off a 3-0 victory over Canada in Toronto and are 5-0-1 in six matches against Korea Republic.
Hope Solo and Megan Rapinoe return to the squad for the United States after missing the match against Canada. The talented goalkeeper was sidelined with a wrist injury while the playmaking midfielder was finishing her club season in France.
Both players should return to prominent roles with the team, which remains ranked No. 1 in the world in the latest FIFA rankings. With that in mind, let's take a glance at all the key match information, followed by a preview and prediction.

United States Player to Watch: Hope Solo
Fellow veteran goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart is perfectly capable of filling in for Solo when necessary, as she illustrated against Canada. When healthy and in top form, however, there isn't a better keeper in the women's game than the Washington native.
Getting her back should provide a boost of confidence for the back line, which will be forced to deal with a quick South Korean attacking group. Knowing they can get away with a mistake or two with Solo back in net should allow them to play more aggressively to shut down counterattacks.
That said, it will be interesting to see how Solo performs in the early stages of her comeback. Wrist problems are obviously a major concern for a goalkeeper, so it might take her some time to get back in the swing of things. That's what friendlies are for.
South Korea Player to Watch: Park Hee-Young
The reason the United States can't afford to overlook South Korea is the side's dangerous attacking trio. Park leads the way with plenty of support from Yoo Young-A and Ji So-Yun. The trio could cause some real issues for the American back line.
Park, who plays for Jeonbuk KSPO at the club level, is the most experienced member of the group. She's scored 23 goals in 53 international appearances. Finding a way to slow her down will be key for Christie Rampone and Co. over the next two matches.
On the flip side, it's up to Park to spark the Taegeuk Nangja if they are going to finish their trip to the United States with something other than a couple losses. The talent is there, but breaking down the American defense won't be an easy task.
Matchup to Watch: American attack vs. South Korean defense
With Rapinoe back in the fold, the United States should have little trouble maintaining offensive pressure throughout the match. Her creativity and distribution skills in the midfield are a sight to behold and certainly makes the strikers' lives easier.
Abby Wambach will continue her pursuit of Mia Hamm's goals record. She's currently three behind with 155, but could easily tie or surpass the mark during the next two matches. Alex Morgan scored twice against Canada and Sydney Leroux had the other goal.
It's clear the South Korean back line has its work cut out. Making matters worse, it's a relatively inexperienced group with just two players having more than 20 international caps. Expect the Americans to take full advantage of that.
