Sunrise in the NFC East: The Division's Top Links on May 25, 2012
Is it Friday already? Time flies when you're dealing with holdouts, broken feet and cap sanctions.
We're not around much tomorrow, so here's a chance to mention that, as you celebrate Memorial Day weekend with your family and friends, Saturday also marks the 13th anniversary of Daniel Snyder purchasing the Washington Redskins for $800 million. Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer takes a look at quarterback depth behind Michael Vick, starting with "the average-armed Mike Kafka." Considering that Vick is bound to miss time, this is the spot that worries me most about the 2012 Eagles.
Two good notes this morning from Sheil Kapadia, who feels that the team's focus, from a contract perspective, will now shift to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and suggests Dion Lewis should probably be considered the favorite to back up LeSean McCoy.
More on Rodgers-Cromartie from Lew Bowen of the Daily News: "I got nothing to prove to nobody. I'm just going out there to compete, best of my ability. That's all I can do."
Robert Griffin III will wear roman numerals on his back this season, something that wasn't permitted by the league until now.
Rich Tandler of CSNWashington.com takes a look at the defensive line depth chart. I had completely forgotten that former first-round pick Kentwan Balmer is on this roster.
