Super Bowl 2012: Why Tom Brady Will Win Fourth Super Bowl
In a decade in charge of the New England Patriots offense, Tom Brady has led the team to five AFC titles and three Super Bowl rings. This year, he'll add a fourth world championship to that tally, simply because the New York Giants won't be able to slow down Brady and his offensive weapons.
Brady is the NFL's reigning MVP, and this season he did nothing to diminish his status as one of the league's best players. He completed 65.6 percent of his passes for a career-high 5,235 yards, with 39 touchdowns and 12 interceptions during the regular season. His quarterback rating of 105.6 ranked third in the league as well.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He led New England's offense to another stellar finish, as they ranked second in the NFL in total offense (428 yards per game) and were also second in passing offense (317.8 yards per game). Brady did a phenomenal job utilizing all of his weapons this season as well, seeing as how four guys caught 50-plus passes.
Receiver Wes Welker led the NFL with 122 catches and was second with 1,569 receiving yards, scoring nine touchdowns. Rob Gronkowski finished second among tight ends with 90 receptions and led them in yards (1,327), while setting the NFL record for touchdowns at the position with 17.
Meanwhile, receiver Deion Branch (51 catches, 702 yards, five touchdowns) and tight end Aaron Hernandez (79 catches, 910 yards, seven touchdowns) both turned in outstanding seasons as well.
In the Super Bowl, Brady will take his offense up against a leaky Giants defense that ranked 27th in yards allowed this season (376.4 yards per game). New York's secondary was also inept for most of the year, finishing 29th in passing yards allowed (255.1 yards per game).
The only hope the Giants have at stopping New England and Brady is if they can get to Brady with their outstanding pass-rush.
New York racked up 48 sacks during the regular season and has added nine more in three postseason games. That said, the Patriots totaled 612 pass attempts during the regular season and allowed just 32 sacks. That is an incredibly low number.
Brady will be pressured from time to time by New York's pass-rush, but I don't think the 34-year-old veteran will be bothered by it.
I expect him to lead the Patriots to yet another championship and avenge their shocking loss to the Giants from Super Bowl XLII.
