NFL Playoffs 2012: How Will Tim Tebow Stack Up Sunday Against the Patriots?

Todd McElweeJun 7, 2018

Tim Tebow saturation has set in.

The entire nation has been carpet bombed with Tebow stats, theories, and tidbits, so it’s easy to think that the patron saint of the pigskin has been with us longer than he actually has, when actually Saturday evening’s primetime showdown against the Golden Boy, the Hoodie, and the rest of the Patriots is only his second playoff game.

Many are judging Tebow like he’s a seasoned vet, but he isn’t and it isn’t fair to critique him as one. A fairer way to compare the former Heisman winner and his contemporaries—in this case active playoff quarterbacks—is to see how they performed in their second postseason contests, so we’ll have a better idea of how good Tebow actually is after Saturday’s game.
