NFL Playoff Schedule 2012: Win over Giants Will Have Packers as NFC Champ Locks
At 15-1 on the season—and at times playing near flawless football—the Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers will host the New York Giants in what is expected to be quite the showdown at Lambeau.
In what will be a rematch of two teams that went down-to-the-wire in their first meeting this season, it is expected to be just as competitive a contest in this game.
With potential-MVP Rodgers taking snaps in Green Bay, it is more than likely that the New York Giants will be unable to take down last year's Super Bowl champs.

However, if there is one team of those remaining that stands a fighting chance at taking down the best team in football, it's these New York Giants.
For one, in their regular season meeting earlier this season, the Giants had the Packers at 35-35 with just 58 seconds remaining from the team's own 20-yard line.
With three quick, pinpoint passes from Rodgers down the field of 24, 27 and 18 yards that were taken out-of-bounds, a last-second 31-yard Mason Crosby field goal would seal the deal for the Pack.
Since the loss, the Giants have all the more improved as a football team—winning four of their last five games and playing with a fresh sense of urgency. Of the teams remaining in the NFC, there is no question the Pack have to be fearing this Giants team the most.
This season, the Packers boast a win over the New Orleans Saints, as well as an offense that is more than capable of putting the pressure on an inexperienced team like the San Francisco 49ers.
The Giants, unlike the 49ers and even the New Orleans Saints, are a team that has played its best football late in games. In the first game against the Packers this season, this was evident in the 11 points the Giants would score in the fourth quarter.
Although the Packers most certainly have the edge in this division round matchup, make no mistake about it: These Giants will contend. If one thing is for certain, these Packers will be remembering their previous meeting against these Giants heading into the contest.
