Samba Magicians in the Bundesliga: Part Three

This week, I am going to introduce five more top Brazilian talents in the Bundesliga.

I would like the readers (especially if they follow the Bundesliga) to vote for the player that they think is the best of the five. The player with the most votes will compete with the winners of part one and two of "The Samba Magicians in the Bundesliga."

1. Alex Silva

The 23-year-old Brazilian is currently with Hamburger SV. He has already played eight times this season. He was part of the Brazilian squad who won bronze at the Olympics. HSV are currently sitting in the fourth spot of the table.

2. Breno

Breno is a talented 19-year-old centre back who plays for Bayern. He won the U-17 championship in Brazil with Sao Paulo. In his first game for the Bavarians under Klinsmann, he received nothing but heaps of praise. Rummenigge brought him into the club “for the future”. He has been part of the Brazilian Olympics squad.

3. Antonio da Silva

He is a midfielder who plays for Karlsruher SC. He made the move from Stuttgart, and since then has been featured in 15 of the team's 16 games, scoring two goals. He won the Bundesliga title with Stuttgart in the 2006-07 season.

4. Josue

Josue is a 29-year-old midfielder who plays for Wolfsburg. He has played all 16 matches this season. He was part of the Sao Paulo squad which won the Club World Cup in 2005. From 1999 onwards, he has played in 22 matches for Brazil, scoring two goals.

5. Marcelo Jose Bordon

Bordon is easily one of the best centre-backs in the Bundesliga. He has 16 appearances and two goals to his name this season for Schalke. He was part of the Brazilian squad which won the Copa America in 2004.
