Juventus football club announced that they will travel to the United States from July 19th until August 1st and are going to play three friendly matches, according to the club's official website.

They will be based in Philadelphia and will travel for their friendly matches.

They are to have a match in the Citi Field Stadium (Flushing Meadows, New York City) against Club America, a Mexican team. The details of the other two matches have not been revealed yet.

Juventus are coming off another poor season, finishing seventh and not qualifying for Europe, which lead to the sacking of tactician Luigi Del Neri.

The Bianconeri will start over with former midfielder and captain, Antonio Conte, as the new coach. This will be a good opportunity for Conte to get to know his players and to learn the areas of the squad that either need improvement or more depth.

Juventus have already signed Milan legend Andrea Pirlo and Sampdoria left back Reto Ziegler, and are also rumored to have signed Michele Pazienza, according to Goal.com.

Club America play attacking football and are coming off a good season. They have two dangerous attackers, Vicente Vuoso (17 goals this season) and Angel Reyna (14 goals). La Aguilas have a shaky back line and finished the season with the third worst defensive record.

The big question is: Will this be the start of something special for Conte and Juventus?
