The victory of FC Barcelona over Real Madrid on aggregates (in the UEFA Champions League) worsened the feud between the two La Liga giants. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) has accused Javier Mascherano (FC Barcelona) of cheating during the UEFA Champions League semifinals.
According to Sky Sports, Ronaldo said that his rival (Mascherano) did not "behave like this in Liverpool." He then said that Mascherano must have learned his "cheating tricks in Barcelona."
Ronaldo went further and said that the "theatrics" of Mascherano cost Real Madrid a goal during the UEFA Champions League match. The comments were based on what transpired during the second half of the match.
Gonzalo Higuain scored a goal for Real Madrid within 47 minutes. The referee disallowed the goal, which could have helped Real Madrid.
Javier Mascherano made a tumble (which appeared to be theatrical) after contact with Ronaldo. Ronaldo himself was falling after being tripped on the play that could have given Real Madrid a lead of 1-0.
Xabi Alonso also corroborated Ronaldo's story but added that the referee was to blame for the call against Real Madrid.

According to The Guardian, Jose Mourinho, (who saw the match in the hotel room), was outraged at what transpired.
Mourinho felt that he could have made a difference if he was not banned after the last match from Real Madrid. According to Futbol Blog Barcelona, Pepe Guardiola congratulated Real Madrid for playing "face to face."
Regardless of the results, UEFA will be deciding on issues of discipline for FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
