There are few things I find more detestable in sport than the behavior of some Italian football fans.

I was going to go into a long winded article that spelt out, quite clearly, the different occasions at which English football fans have been attacked, stabbed and injured by Italian 'Ultras' while trying to watch a game of football.

But I don't think its needed.

Last night, Liverpool fans were attacked and stabbed by the cowardly scum that calls itself football fans but is clearly not.

Today, I hear that a number of other incidents being reported where perfectly innocent men, women and CHILDREN were harassed, intimidated and even stoned and bricked, by the lowest form of human life imaginable.

What makes it worse is the fact that the Italian people seem to find this acceptable or at least let it go mostly unchallenged.

The authorities are seemingly overawed by these low- lives, even before they have tried to confront them.

But then, UEFA, who have been less than pathetic regarding this (and the racism that is rife), needs to take immediate and harsh action.

Until the authorities do all that they can  to protect travelling fans and stamp down on the violent and despicable scum that is ruining the beautiful game in Italy UEFA should ban all Italian teams indefinitely.

Maybe then the filth of European football can be cleansed.

Where can I comment?
