AC Milan: Top 5 matches of season 2009-2010

1 of 6

Once again, AC Milan had a tough season.

Big finance crisis that hit Milan is still doing the damage.

In summer 2009 one of the biggest, maybe I should say the best football icon ever, Paolo Maldini said goodbye to football.

After him Milan accepted the offer from Real Madrid in range of 65 million € for the best player Kaka.

After departure of Paolo Maldini and Kaka every normal football fan said: AC Milan is doomed.

Milan only brought Huntelaar,Abate,Onyewu,Mancini,Thiago Silva and some other players that were brought back from loan(Oddo,Storari...). This really funny trasnfer campaign didn't brought many happy faces along AC Milan fans.

Despite this crazy summer in AC Milan, they managed to play some really great games.

5. AC Milan - Cagliari 4:3

2 of 6

Seedorf,Borrielo,Pato,Ronaldinho  they all managed to score goal in this really exciting match.

AC Milan was on his top during this time of the season.

Nobody expected that Milan is going to do so well but they proved them wrong.

Finally Milan find showed themself in the best light.

4. Olympique de Marseille - AC Milan 1:2

3 of 6

Milan's first game in champions league in new season wasn't that easy.

They had to visit pretty decent Olympique Marseille.

Pipo Inzaghi even today shows us the great instinct for scoring goals. He scored both goals for AC Milan in this match!

But we can't forget the big part that was played from Clarence Seedorf, the old master that had two amazing assists to Inzaghi. Clarence proves us that he still got it!

3. Juventus F.C. - AC Milan 0-3

4 of 6

Juventus, for now the fallen giant of football. They were having a lot of trouble in this season and that is why they finished on 7th place in Serie A.

Alessandro Nesta gave Milan a lead from corner kick after Felipe Melo made a big mistake. After this goal, Ronaldinho was on the stage as he scores two nice goals to finish Juventus.

After this win, Milan secured the 2th place in Serie A.

2. AC Milan - A.S. Roma 2-1

5 of 6

This win against Roma was very important for Milan.

After this game, Milan is going to win six games and only draw one. Palermo managed to beat Milan at San Siro, 2-0 and ruin their awesome run of good results.

The match was really intense. Menez scored first for Roma but Milan got back after Ronaldinho scored from penalty. In the finish of the game young star Alexandre Pato scores the winning goal for AC Milan.

This match was obviusly Milan's turning point in the season.

1. Real Madrid C.F. - AC Milan 2:3

6 of 6

Real Madrid 9 champions league titles, AC Milan 7

    what can you say more?

It was amazing to see this two the most succesful clubs in the world together in the same group of champions league.

First game that was played on Santiago Bernabeu was amazing.

The game will be remembered by young superstar Pato, who scored 2 nice goals. Specially the last one in 88min!

Also we will remember the funny mistake by Dida that helped Raul to score for Real Madrid and amazing long distance goal by Andrea Pirlo.

Next game at San Siro finished with a draw, 1-1
