Should Arsenal Sell Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas For £75 Million?
The Summer Transfer Window is currently ajar in World Football thus ensuring a host of rumours of whose going where are blasted all round the world. Some ridiculous, some just strange and some very, very interesting.
Arsenal are in a situation where they are faced with a load of rumours thanks to the uncertainty of their captain Cesc Fabregas's future. Rumours recently occurred claiming that Fabregas was eager to make a move back to his boyhood club Barcelona.
This is a fair enough assumption as Fabregas has already expressed his desire to return to the Camp Nou and with Arsenal failing to secure silverware and the Spanish Kings easily racking up trophies, a move to his home-town looks appealing.

Barcelona will not rest until the 23-year-old is safely added to their roster and a fresh rumour has emerged that the Catalonia outfit is prepared to offer £40 million.
Another Arsenal star has also fallen into the rumour mill. Star striker Robin van Persie is being chased by a number of big name outfits. The Dutchman, who is considered as one of the deadliest and talented strikers in World Football, is currently impressing greatly in the World Cup and has been unable to comment.
Rumours have it Spanish giants Real Madrid are prepared to offer £35 million for the lethal left footer. This is a flattering offer which could potentially make Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's mouth water.
£75 Million for the Gunners two key players is appealing. The pair would be no threat on a Premier League basis as they would be performing in different leagues, but it would surely ensure a frail, lifeless attack.
Fabregas is the current captain of Arsenal with van Persie his second in command. Selling the pair would see an inexperienced Arsenal side. However £75 Million as well as a large sum Wenger holds would be a suitable amount to seduce some of the world's most talented players.
The likes of Mesut Ozil, David Villa, Hugo Lloris and Wesley Sneijder could all be aquired with the money that van Persie and Fabregas would muster. This would see a new, improved Arsenal side that would have the usual flair and creativity.
But van Persie and Fabregas are Arsenal's main weapons and they are virtually irreplaceable. Madrid and Barcelona are dealing with one of the wisest and intelligent managers in the World and it would be increasingly unlikely he would allow both van Perise and Fabregas to depart.
However Barcelona's £40 million offer of Fabregas would raise eyebrows and it would force Wenger to contemplate whether this offer is to good to pass up.
