England coach Fabio Capello has named his 30-man squad for the World Cup this summer.

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has come out of international retirement to play a part in his final world cup.

City midfielder, Gareth  Barry pick up an ankle injury last week and there was a doubt that he would be named in the squad.

Tottenham players are making a big impact with the squad with six players. Theses areMichael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone, Peter Crouch, Ledley King, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe.

Scott Parker has had a superb season and Capello has picked up on it.

Bobby Zamora has not been selected but Darren Bent has, along with Heskey(?), Defoe and Rooney.

Unfortunately for seven players, the team needs to be cut down to 23 by the end of the month. After getting the great news that they have been selected, some will be heartbroken when they get cut.
