Observations from Week Nine Picks
Everybody likes the Dolphins, Bengals, Falcons, Eagles, and Vikingsโ Each of these teams have a fairly easy matchup in Week 12. In my opinion, the most likely undisputed pick to be upset is the Dolphins, but who knows, maybe life without Ronnie Brown will be just as peachy as it has been.
The Underdog Is Deadโ Not really, but it's definitely on vacation. The Underdog had a few big weeks, but other than that there hasn't been much noise from the Bonus. In Week 12, there are three Underdog selections: Indy over Houston (Steven), KC over San Diego (Seth), and Pitt over Baltimore (Andrew). I hate the Pittsburgh pick, love the Houston pick (see Week Nine), and am secretly praying for the KC pick (I hate the Chargers). But again, just my opinion.
No Split Decisionsโ There are a lot of 5-3 votes in Week 12, but no split decisions to be found. The jury is almost out ย (a 5-3 vote) on Carolina over NY Jets, Seattle over St. Louis, San Francisco over Jacksonville, Arizona over Tennessee, and New Orleans over New England, but the contestants couldn't completely disagree a single time.
Homer Alert โSure, the Seahawks have looked rough, but both ย of the St. Louis FCs are taking the Rams over the 'Hawks in Week 12. Please note that this could be the first (and probably last) time that these two have both endorsed the Rams in the same week. The Rams have a chance (Vegas says 4.5), but this looks at tad bit homer-istic...
Without further ado, here are the picks. Please comment below with your thoughts.
