Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants: My Prediction for This NFC East Matchup
Alright, time to forget the Phillies game three World Series loss to the Yankees. It’s time to forget the Halloween candy. It's time for some football!
Tomorrow is going to be a good game. These teams have no love for each other. We're in for another great NFC East rivalry game.
The New York Giants are looking to end their two-game losing streak. Two weeks ago they were blown out by Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, and last week they lost to Larry Fitzgerald and the Arizona Cardinals. They would love to end this streak against their arch-rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Underrated FA Signings 📈
The Eagles have the momentum going into this game. They are coming off a nice 27-17 win over the Washington Redskins. Unfortunately, they lost Brian Westbrook to a concussion. He apparently lost memory and was knocked out after the accidental blow to the head. Without him, the Eagles chances of winning are hurt. LeSean McCoy will most likely get the start.
The Giants stellar defensive line could cause hell for the Eagles o-line. They have had their struggles and injuries this year. Look for Donovan McNabb to be under pressure throughout the game. I mean the Oakland Raiders pass-rush caused major problems, and I mean major problems for the Eagles. And that was the Oakland Raiders!
The Giants secondary was exposed against the Saints. If Donovan McNabb can get the ball to DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, it can cause a lot of damage. Both of them are speedy dynamic receivers. The two have combined for 39 receptions, 669 yards, and 5 touchdowns so far this season. Getting them the ball is only possible if Donovan has time to throw the ball though.
Eagles Predictions:
Donovan McNabb:
20-35, 250 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
DeSean Jackson:
6 Rec, 110 yards, TD
Jeremy Maclin:
3 Rec, 35 yards
LeSean McCoy:
15 carries, 70 yards, 3 Rec, 25 yards, Rec TD
Giants Predictions:
25-32, 300 yards, 2 TD
Steve Smith:
7 Rec, 125 yards, TD
Mario Manningham:
5 Rec, 55 yards
Brandon Jacobs:
20 carries, 115 yards, TD
I have the Giants winning this one 21-14. I think the Giants pass-rush will win the game for them. The Eagles line hasn't handled blitzes well. That's not about to change against the best defensive line in football. As an Eagles fan, this is one time I would definitely love to be wrong.
