EPL Table: 2016 Standings After Saturday's Week 10 Results and Top Scorers
After recent talks of a crisis, Manchester City sent a message to their Premier League title rivals through a thumping 4-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
Pep Guardiola’s men had gone six games without a win in all competitions, but Sergio Aguero netted a brace and Ilkay Gundogan chipped in with a double of his own to stop the rot.
Aguero’s two goals sent him to the top of the scoring charts alongside Chelsea’s Diego Costa, while Manchester City held their place at the Premier League’s summit, as we see below:

Level on points with Manchester City at the top are Arsenal and Liverpool, who both also chalked up four-goal hauls on Saturday.
The Gunners took on struggling Sunderland in the day’s early kick-off, and even though Jermain Defoe cancelled out Alexis Sanchez’s opener midway through the second half, Arsene Wenger’s men regained their composure to run out 4-1 winners.
Olivier Giroud came off the substitute’s bench to devastating effect by netting two well-taken goals, before Sanchez added his second of the match moments later. Journalist and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan was one of many praising the two frontmen after the match:
Sanchez’s brace took him to six Premier League goals for the season, just one goal behind Aguero and Costa.
Liverpool, meanwhile, emerged victorious from a rollercoaster clash at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace.
Emre Can, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip found the back of the net for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with Roberto Firmino finishing the scoring to move to four goals for the season.
Also on four goals are Firmino’s two partners in crime Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho, as well as Palace’s James McArthur—who scored twice to peg Liverpool back on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Vincent Janssen opened his Premier League account for the season with a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City, while Manchester United were held to a 0-0 draw by Burnley at Old Trafford.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Co. were frustrated by the brilliance of Burnley stopper Tom Heaton, who made several exemplary saves to keep his former employers out.
Ibrahimovic, especially, fell foul to Heaton’s stunning performance, as he failed to end a goalless drought that now moves over 500 minutes, per Squawka Football:
The mercurial Swede is stuck on four league goals for the season and will hope to break his duck in United’s trip to Swansea next time around.
In the day’s other games, Watford had to rely on a Matt Dawson own goal to see off the challenge of Hull at Vicarage Road, and strikes from Gaston Ramirez and Stewart Downing earned Middlesbrough a 2-0 win at home to Bournemouth.

The Premier League table is starting to take shape, and it’s looking mighty tight at the top and bottom of the division.
Arsenal and Liverpool have both demonstrated that they’re much more than also-rans in the race for the title, while Manchester City got back to their best and eased fans’ worries.
Week 11 sees two top teams clash in the north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, while Manchester City will look to pull clear at the top when welcoming newly promoted Middlesbrough to the Etihad.
