Harry Redknapp's Wife Injured After Car Accident with Ex-Premier League Boss
The wife of former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp, Sandra, has reportedly been hospitalised after she was involved in a freak car accident.
According to the Daily Telegraph, she was inadvertently dragged along the road by the vehicle being driven by her husband. Redknapp was reportedly "dropping her off in the shopping area of Westbourne in Dorset when her foot and coat became caught in his Range Rover as he pulled away."
Witnesses sourced in the article stated that Sandra cried in pain and was badly bleeding as a result of the accident.
"There was a lot of blood on the tarmac and Harry was beside himself," another witness told the Sun (h/t the Daily Telegraph). "It was just a freak accident."
The South Western Ambulance Service released a statement confirming a woman had been taken to hospital due to an incident. "We were called at 11:49 a.m. to Poole Road, in Bournemouth," it read, per the Telegraph. "There was one female casualty in her 60s. She had a foot injury and has been taken into hospital."
It is also noted by the Telegraph that, according to sources close to the family, Sandra is "fine" after undergoing an operation.
