The Saints make their way to Italy for the first of two consecutive meetings against the Nerazzurri, and the Premier League club is in good shape for the fixture after a run of seven games unbeaten.

Thursday will feature 24 matches in total, as an ensemble of teams from across Europe do battle in the hope they can advance to the next round of the tournament.

Saints Capitalise on Inter Indecision
Southampton manager Claude Puel could hardly have hoped for better circumstances coming into the clash against Serie A giants Inter, with the Italians struggling while his side fly in the Premier League.
The Saints are coming off the back of a 3-1 win over Burnley, and striker Charlie Austin is excited for the San Siro clash after scoring twice in Sunday's win:
Inter, meanwhile, have been inconsistent under new manager Frank de Boer and suffered their fifth defeat in 10 games on Sunday, losing 2-1 to Cagliari in a match that marked their second home loss in all competitions this season.
As highlighted by the Sun, the Nerazzurri's defeat made for fine reading as far as any Southampton supporter will be concerned:
One thing that has remained at St. Mary's Stadium this season despite the departure of previous manager Ronald Koeman is a defensive stinginess, with the Saints keeping clean sheets in six of their last seven games.
De Boer boasts an awesome squad of playing talent at Inter, but Southampton can pounce to move up the Group K standings with another fine showing in their trip to northern Italy.
Prediction: Inter 1-2 Southampton
Red Devils United for Fener Fixture

Two games into the Europa League season and things are finely poised in Group A, where leaders Fenerbahce hold the slimmest of leads over Manchester United, who are joint-second after winning one of their two outings.
That being said, Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho may elect to rest a wealth of his stars for Thursday's meeting with their Turkish guests, and Football Accumulators pointed to this as a particularly hectic part of their schedule:
United drew 0-0 at Liverpool on Monday to secure their fifth successive result without defeat, although Turkish Football's Emre Sarigul did note Fener could take their positives from that meeting:
These two sides have scored a combined total of three goals in the four Europa League matches they've played between them this term, so it seems only logical Thursday's meeting will be a low-scoring affair.
That being said, Mourinho has depth to his advantage and could still field a terrifying lineup while handing some of his bigger names the evening off, a factor that could decide who emerges on top.
Prediction: Manchester United 1-0 Fenerbahce
