EPL Table: 2016 Standings After Saturday's Week 6 Results and Top Scorers
Sergio Aguero scored twice to help Manchester City open a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League. Aguero's goals helped beat Swansea City 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, continuing the Manchester club's perfect start to the new season.
But Aguero wasn't the only marksman in top form. Tottenham's Son Heung-min bagged a brace to send the Spurs on their way to a 2-1 away win over Middlesbrough. The result puts the North London club second.
Aguero and Son are now among the division's leading scorers, with the former in a three-way tie at the top of the charts after Diego Costa was blanked during Chelsea's 3-0 defeat at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
Alexis Sanchez inspired the hosts, as Gunners manager Arsene Wenger's experiment to make the Chilean a central striker is beginning to bear fruit.

Recap
Sanchez was the star for Arsenal, who pressed Chelsea all over the pitch and attacked with more pace and rotations than the Blues could handle. That pressing gave Sanchez his goal after he harassed and robbed centre-back Gary Cahill.
Squawka News showed the deft finish, one that saw Sanchez cutely chip over Thibaut Courtois:
It's Sanchez's fourth league goal this season, and proof he's maturing amidst what has been a rough transition into leading the line. The role demands both goals and assists, and Sanchez turned provider for Arsenal's third when he crossed for Mesut Ozil to bundle home.
Theo Walcott has scored in between, but it was Sanchez's pace, graft and tireless running that kept the visitors stretched. He was substituted ahead of the final 10 minutes, but Sky Sports Statto detailed how effective Sanchez had been:
Typically, it was Aguero who laid down the first marker, after his brace helped league leaders City to a hard-fought win at Swansea. Aguero rounded off a flowing team move by controlling a Bacary Sagna cross before finishing with aplomb.
The goal continued the Argentinian striker's lightning-fast start to the new season, per Squawka:
A second-half penalty capped Aguero's prolific return from suspension. It also sent the Citizens on their way to three more points and gave them breathing space at the top of the table.
The brace was the perfect way for Aguero to celebrate a landmark moment in his City career, as the club noted:
Aguero has been in electric form since Pep Guardiola succeeded Manuel Pellegrini as manager this summer. The Spaniard's adherence to possession-based football is bringing out the best in a striker whose subtle, short-area quickness and instinctive movement make him one of the deadliest in the game.
Yet, while Aguero's success is expected, another City forward is surprising many with his form in front of goal. Raheem Sterling netted his fourth league goal of this young campaign after adding a flourish to a typically blistering break.
Sterling has always boasted enviable pace and varied movement, though end product has been his problem. At least until now.

The jet-heeled winger is ensuring City aren't overly reliant on Aguero to win matches.
Sterling isn't the only surprise name on the scoring charts. He's joined by a Tottenham attacker rapidly becoming vital for manager Mauricio Pochettino's side. In fact, Son's double to beat Middlesbrough means he's already as effective in front of goal as last season, according to OptaJoe:
More impressively, the South Korean ace is proving very efficient when he gets his chances. Squawka detailed how ruthless he was in the north East:
Son has given the Spurs another credible threat to go with centre-forward Harry Kane. His movement is perceptive and his technique is second to none.
Son is the type of cerebral supporting forward who can give a pragmatic Tottenham attack an extra dimension this season.
Sunderland would give anything for an extra dimension, after not even an historic Jermain Defoe goal was enough to keep the club off the foot of the table.
Instead, the Black Cats were beaten by a last-gasp goal from Crystal Palace target man Christian Benteke. It came at the end of a wild game in which Defoe opened the scoring for the home side, and moved into the top-10 of the division's all-time leading goalscorers, per Sky Sports Statto:
Defoe doubled his tally on the hour mark, before Sunderland collapsed and Palace scored three times to get the win. Sunderland can't count on much this season, except 33-year-old Defoe's continued ability to find the net.
Aguero is just as consistent, and remains the talisman of City's so far unstoppable title charge.
