Recap
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was taking criticism even before the Gunners' clash at the Parc des Princes began as some asked questions about his selection, per Arsenal writer James McNicholas:
The Frenchman's side could barely have made a worse start as Edinson Cavani headed PSG ahead in the opening minute, getting on the end of Serge Aurier's excellent cross from the right.
The Uruguayan should have put his side out of sight before the half-time whistle, but he missed the target when he got round Gunners goalkeeper David Ospina just after the half hour and then eschewed an extra touch when he beat the offside trap in the 42nd minute.

Ospina was then called into action to deny Aurier, Cavani and Angel di Maria after the break before Alexis Sanchez made PSG pay for their wastefulness in the 78th minute.
The Chilean received the ball on the edge of the box and finished brilliantly after Alphonse Areola could only parry Alex Iwobi's effort from close range.
In a somewhat farcical finish to the match, Arsenal substitute Olivier Giroud and PSG's Marco Verratti were both shown red cards, but the Gunners hung on to claim a valuable point.
Barcelona were on the scoresheet against Celtic just three minutes into the action at the Camp Nou as Messi was allowed space on the left and hammered home a powerful finish, per BT Sport Football:
Moussa Dembele had the chance to equalise midway through the first half but saw his penalty saved by Marc-Andre ter Stegen, only for Messi to walk in his second goal minutes later after exchanging passes with Neymar.
The Brazilian superstar made it 3-0 five minutes after the break, sending a free-kick into the top corner from 22 yards, and substitute Andres Iniesta then crashed in a sumptuous volley from 15 yards just before the hour.
A minute later, Messi completed his hat-trick to make it 5-0 and set a Champions League landmark, per Opta, before Luis Suarez netted a quick-fire double to complete Celtic's humiliation:
Bayern had an inevitably comfortable night at home against Russian outfit Rostov, Robert Lewandowski opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the 28th minute before Thomas Muller added a second in first-half stoppage time.
Young midfielder Joshua Kimmich then netted a double in the second half—and Juan Bernat made it 5-0—drawing high praise from Bundesliga expert Cristian Nyari:
Atletico Madrid, beaten finalists in 2016 and 2014, made a winning start as they edged a 1-0 victory away to PSV Eindhoven thanks to Saul Niguez's first half-goal, while Franco Cervi and Talisca scored as Benfica and Besiktas shared the spoils.
Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets claimed a point against Basel after a 1-1 draw, and Arkadiusz Milik netted two goals late in the first-half for Napoli to see his side to a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev.
