Tottenham, Arsenal Fans Reportedly Involved in Violent Clashes Before Derby Game

Police were forced into action outside White Hart Lane on Saturday, as Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal fans reportedly clashed ahead of the north London derby.

The Daily Telegraph reported that supporters gathered outside the stadium ahead of kick-off and descended into a brawl. The Guardian's James Dart revealed the shocking images from Tottenham:

North London derbies are always an intense affair, but with both Spurs and Arsenal vying for the Premier League title, Saturday's meeting saw tempers flare particularly high.

Police on horseback did eventually manage to get the offenders under control, although there's no official word on any injuries suffered just yet.

Tottenham are looking to temporarily leapfrog Leicester City at the top of the Premier League table with a victory over their bitter rivals, while the Gunners hope to reignite their title charge.
