There have been plenty of interesting figures in world football who make names for themselves both on and off the pitch. We have seen these figures continued to emerge throughout the last several years through an increase between players and fan interaction due to an increase in social media.
One of the most obvious players involved in this has been Mario Balotelli, who has committed enough interesting actions to create a book.
But Balotelli is not the only player that does some zany stuff away from the field. Here are some of the actions committed by these players.
Samir Nasri Fights Fans in Car

Following Liverpool's 1-0 win at Manchester City in the Carling Cup, some Liverpool fans got into an argument with Samir Nasri on the roads.
After listening to abuse, Nasri sped off. Though Liverpool did win the Carling Cup, Man City appear that they will get the final say in the Premier League.
Ever Banega Runs over His Own Foot

Ever Banegra had a promising season that got stopped after he ran over his leg at a petrol station.
Banegra's season came to an end with this injury.
Sheys Rezaei and Mohammad Nosrati Punished for Backside Grabbing

During a league match in Iran last October, two Irani players, Sheys Rezaei and Mohammad Nosrati were convicted of grabbing another player's bottom after scoring goals.
Due to the strong influence of Sharia Law in Iran, both players were fined almost £25,000 each for grabbing their teammates' backsides and were banned indefinitely from all football activities by the FFIRI. Furthermore, 74 lashes awaited each players for their actions.
Carlos Tevez Wins Golf Tournament

Carlos Tevez may now be back with Manchester City and could be on the verge of claiming a Premier League title. But this wouldn't be the first title Tevez has won in the past season.
Last November, Tevez won a golf tournament in Argentina while on his hiatus from England.
Conor Cunningham Becomes an Estonian for a Day
Irish fan Conor Cunningham was given the chance of a lifetime during Ireland's playoff against Estonia. After failing to get a ticket, Cunningham found an Estonian track suit that got him field access.
After the match ended, Cunningham went out and talked to the Irish players before he got forced out of the stadium.
Steve Kean Gets a Bodyguard

Steve Kean will probably be out of a job following Blackburn's relegation, which will also probably mean an end for the bodyguard that Kean hired.
In February, Kean hired a bodyguard in response to the extreme stances taken by some of Blackburn's supporters.
When discussing his new bodyguard, Keane said, ''He knows how to handle himself. It is a bit strange having him around, but there are some good things too. He is bloody interesting to talk to, for a start.''
Antonello Scavone Attacks Journalist Who Gave a Bad Rating
It is rare for Serie D sides to make much news, but Antonello Scavone certainly made news when he punched a journalist for giving him a 4.5 rating in a match report.
Scavone also harassed the journalist on Facebook.
Mario Balotelli Flamethrower

It emerged last weekend that in a interesting effort to gain more attention, Balotelli used an aerosol can in a way to make it into a flamethrower while in the bathroom of a hotel.
The consequences of Balotelli's actions will be unknown until a later date.

Mario Balotelli is a fantastic footballer, though he lacks maturity.
Last September, Balotelli took his antics to a high with the Italian national team when he was caught playing on an iPad instead of watching the opposition play.
Mario Balotelli Caught Using Fireworks to Light House on Fire

Mario Balotelli took his already-lofty standards toward being a clown to its highest level last year when he lit his own bathroom on fire.
Balotelli caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages from releasing fireworks inside his bathroom.
This didn't stop Balotelli from playing in City's match against United, where he infamously displayed this image after scoring.
