Seattle Seahawks Playoff Scenarios: 'Hawks Must Control What They Can and Win
Believe it or not, the Seattle Seahawks still have a shot at making the NFL playoffs.
It's a long-shot, but it's a shot none the less, and at this part of the season that's really all you could ask for as a Seahawks fan.
I think it would be safe to say that the Seahawks have had a fairly average season coming into this weekend at 7-7.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
They haven't been great, but they've had some bright spots, which includes the 1,011 yard 11 touchdown season that running back Marshawn Lynch has put up so far.
Sure, quarterback Tarvaris Jackson hasn't been spectacular at all with 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, but he hasn't thrown a pick in three games and the 'Hawks won all three of those games.
Like I said, the Hawks still have an outside shot at getting into the playoffs, but first thing's first, they have to win.
With games against the 49ers at home and the Cardinals on the road, it's going to be quite the monumental task.
The 49ers come into the matchup with the division locked up at 11-3, but they are still fighting for the playoff bye.
The have the leagues best rushing defense, only giving up 71.5 yards per game on the ground, and have a great rushing attack themselves, led by Frank Gore's 1,119 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Cardinals are also at 7-7 right now, but Seattle holds the tie-breaker over them based on head-to-head winning percentages, according to ESPN.
They are a team that has battled injuries and inconsistencies, but they find themselves on a three-game win streak, and have won five of their last six games.
The Seahawks need to win both of those games if they even want to think about the playoffs, but that's not all.
They would also need the Detroit Lions to lose both of their remaining games: Chargers at home and Packers on the road.
It's a tough request, but it's possible.
The Chargers have won three in a row and just punched the Ravens in the mouth 34-14, and the Packers are obviously the best team in the league and have a wicked home-field advantage over the Lions.
The Hawk's have tie-breakers over the Bears and Giants, so even if both of those teams tied them in record it wouldn't matter.
If the Seahawks win-out, and the Lions lose-out, the Seahawks would get in as the final wild-card spot.
It's an outside shot, but it's a chance none the less.
