Giants vs. Saints: Tom Coughlin's Belittled Giants Don't Deserve Playoff Berth
Forget all the excuses.
Tom Coughlin has done a bad job of coaching the New York Giants in the last two seasons.
It all started last season when the Giants were downed by division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles and ultimately missed out on the playoffs.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It continued this season when not even this team's injuries excuse it from the weak play of the last two weeks.
It's all fine and dandy defeating the New England Patriots, which the Giants did in Week 9, but if you're going to lie down, just like you did late last season, it means nothing.
I'll give the Giants this: They played the San Francisco 49ers tough in Week 10 and that loss wasn't exactly indicative of the team they were at the time; the 49ers were simply better.
However, the last two weeks the Giants have looked nothing like a playoff contender, and after a 17-10 loss to the Eagles and a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday night, the Giants are starting to resemble their in-state rivals...and that's a bad thing.
We've all seen what the Jets have become, a team that was supposed to win a Super Bowl by head coach Rex Ryan's account and has instead stumbled to a 6-5 record, coincidentally the same record as the Giants.
But the Giants may be even worse than that. They have more talent than the Jets do overall. Do I dare say, that makes them the San Diego Chargers of the East Coast?
They scored 10 points against the Eagles. They scored 24 points against the Saints, but their defense gave up 49 points.
Sounds like an inconsistent team fit to be called the San Diego Chargers of the East Coast to me.
