NFL Week 12 Predictions: Pathetic Teams That'll Be Embarrassed on the Road

Kyle VassaloNov 25, 2011

There are some pathetic teams that face an uphill battle this week as it is, but the fact they have to go on the road gives them no shot at earning a victory this week.

Six teams with a below-.500 record have to go on the road on Sunday. Some, like the Panthers and Cardinals, are spared because they face teams who are just as miserable as they are.

These three garbage teams won't be so lucky.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Minnesota Vikings have only won two games all season long, and with Adrian Peterson banged up, the Vikings have no shot at winning in Atlanta.

The Vikings only allow 85.4 rushing yards per game and there is no way the Vikings can move the ball on the ground without AP at 100 percent.

The Falcons have won four of their last five, losing to only the Saints in overtime. The Falcons are making a push for the NFC South crown and aren't going to be taken down by Christian Ponder and the Vikings.

With Peyton Hillis going from fearless warrior to whining crybaby this season, the Browns have regressed into the worst team in the AFC North.

Many in survivor pools picked the Browns in this matchup on opening day, but Andy Dalton and the Bengals shocked the world and humiliated the Browns on their home turf.

This time around, the Bengals come into the game as heavy favorites, and at 6-4, they're still right in the thick of the playoff hunt.

The Browns allow 139.3 rushing yards per game, and even if Dalton struggles to pick apart Cleveland's secondary, the Bengals will run the ball at will and shut down the Browns' worthless offense with ease.

The Washington Redskins were flying high after starting the season 3-1, but they've lost six straight and have moved into a state of indifference.

It may seem like they've got a winnable game ahead of them, as Seattle is sitting at 4-6, but CenturyLink Field is miserable to play at no matter how bad the Seahawks are.

The Seahawks just fed the Ravens a loss in Week 10 and though they've definitely got glaring weaknesses, the 12th Man in Seattle is dangerous.

John Beck has four interceptions and two touchdowns on the season and going on the road in a hostile environment will prove to be too much for the erratic quarterback.
