Giants vs. Saints: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More

Brian MaziqueNov 22, 2011

The New York Giants are traveling into the Superdome to face the New Orleans Saints. They are still reeling from their loss to their division rival, Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants were the defibrillator for the dying Eagles division championship hopes.

The Saints own a one game lead in the division, but the Atlanta Falcons have replaced Tampa Bay as the Saints' biggest threats.

Betting Line: -7 New Orleans Saints, According to footballlocks.com

What's At Stake?
This is a big game for both, but the Giants need to win the division. They have now lost two games in a row. They were in control before they dropped the game to the Eagles on Sunday night.

They are currently tied with Dallas for the division lead. The Cowboys have looked great in the past three weeks and they have the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving. A loss here could put the Boys in the driver's seat for good.

For the Saints, they want to keep that distance between themselves and the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta is starting to get confidence offensively. The last thing the Saints need is to have the Falcons hit a roll in conduction with a home loss.

Giants Injury Report:
RB Ahmad Bradshaw is out with the foot injury; they missed his playmaking against the Eagles. The Giants were only able to muster up 29 yards on the ground against an Eagles run defense that has been terrible all year.

LB Michael Boley is doubtful.
DE Justin Tuck and DB Prince Amukamara are both questionable.

The Giants have some less significant injuries to T Will Beatty, T Jarriel King, WR Mario Manningham, CB Aaron Ross and DE Osi Umenyiora, who are all probable.

Saints Injury Report:
No injuries reported

Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper

Start 'Em: Eli Manning
Manning, a New Orleans native is having his best season statistically. Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks have established themselves as a dangerous set of weapons for him. The Saints pass defense is only 19th in the NFL. Eli should have a nice fantasy day even with the crowd noise.

Sit 'Em: Mark Ingram
The Giants defense, even though it is banged up, is still a fast group. This figures to be a Darren Sproles type of night for the Saints. Ingram won't find much happening up the gut and between the tackles where he does most of his work. I would sit him here.

Sleeper: Robert Meachem
Meachem has been quiet all year. He stepped up a bit in the last game, the OT win over the Atlanta Falcons. He is a big play receiver, whom the Giants have given 36 passing plays of 20 or more yards. That is the eighth highest total in the NFL. Meachem is ready to string nice games together.

What They're Saying:
Bigblueinteractive.com says "the Giants are fading." Yes, that is true, but this game will tell whether or not they can right the ship.

Nola.com has the Saints third in their NFL power rankings and believes the team will be well rested after the bye-week.

Key Matchup:

Jo-Lonn Dunbar and Jake Ballard

Ballard has really asserted himself in the Giants' offense and Eli Manning trusts him. He is the go to guy for intermediate and tough third down pick ups. If Dunbar can help centralize Ballard, it will go a long way in stopping the Giants' attack. The Giants are 4-2 when he catches at least three passes.

On the Hotseat:

Jacobs has really struggled this season. He is averaging 3.6 yards per carry and the Giants really need him to step up as Ahmad Bradshaw is likely out.

Prediction:

New Orleans Saints 24
New York Giants 20
