Miles Austin Injury: Dallas Cowboys Will Be Fine If Star WR Has to Miss Time
The Dallas Cowboys have plenty of reasons to be concerned, even after beating the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday by a score of 23-13. But a hamstring injury to Miles Austin is anything but the most pressing of them.
The Cowboys' star wide receiver left in the second quarter of his team's win after pulling up lame on a 37-yard catch. He finished with two catches for 53 yards. Austin will undergo an MRI on Monday and be re-evaluated thereafter.
As far as Austin's viability for the rest of the season is concerned, Dallas should be somewhat worried. The speedster has been plagued by the same sore hammy all season. He initially suffered the injury back in training camp and re-aggravated it in Week 2, which forced him to sit out two games thereafter.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In the grand scheme of things, though, the Cowboys have no reason to panic, even if Austin doesn't return to full health before the end of the season. Laurent Robinson, Austin's backup, has done a terrific job of filling in for him all season and stepped in rather ably once again on Sunday, catching five passes for 32 yards and a touchdown.
As such, Tony Romo should have little trouble finding someone to throw to if Austin has to miss more time. Should Robinson falter, Romo would still have the talented trio of Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and rookie running back DeMarco Murray to play catch with on the field.
Of course, losing Austin doesn't help the Cowboys, though, his absence would hardly limit their chances of making the playoffs going forward. In fact, Dallas put up 17 of its 23 points of the afternoon during the second half, after Austin had already left.
In the meantime, the Cowboys have more than enough firepower to get through their next four games—vs. the Bills, at the Redskins, vs. the Dolphins and at the Cardinals—with at least three wins, if not four. Such a run would vault Dallas into the thick of things in the NFC East, with a guaranteed spot in second place in the division heading into Week 10.
