NFL Power Rankings: Which Teams Are League's Most Infuriating?
Statistically, Tony Romo is pretty darn good. DeMarcus Ware is arguably the best pass rusher and all-around defensive end in the NFC. Dez Bryant has the complete skill set for a young wide receiver. Miles Austin is a Pro Bowler.
So why are the Dallas Cowboys, a team that seemingly every season is a "Super Bowl" contender, sitting at 3-4 right now?
If the inability to tap in to their talent isn't infuriating, I'm not sure what is.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Romo proves that it's not all about the amount of yardage you accumulate through the air—late-game situations will always be more crucial.
The defense is inconsistent and Rob Ryan can only take them so far.
If Sean Lee is out for an extended period of time or hindered by his arm injury, things could get very ugly in Dallas.
I'm not here to solely bash the Cowboys.
They have talent, they just need to translate all of it to consistent play and, ultimately, wins.
There are a few other team's that are totally maddening at this point in the season...
New Orleans Saints
I still have faith in the Saints. With Drew Brees behind center and Sean Payton calling the plays, everything should be OK in New Orleans.
But can a guy get some defense?
They're allowing 124 yards on the ground per game and aren't causing turnovers at the rate in which we've seen in the past (only four interceptions this season).
If Brees doesn't have a near perfect game, which can happen from time to time, the Saints are susceptible, and that humiliating loss to St. Louis could harm their chances at the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.
If they falter against the Buccaneers at home, we're looking at some serious issues.
I just think they have way too much talent to have three losses right now.
San Diego Chargers
This club fits into the same category as the Cowboys.
Check down their roster, and you think "conference championship or bust". Unfortunately for Chargers fans, sports aren't played on paper.
By now you've seen, read or heard that Philip Rivers leads the NFL with 13 turnovers. He only had 13 interceptions all of last season.
He's been a little Romo-ish to me this year—big passing yards, big mistakes.
They certainly missed Antonio Gates early in the year, and it didn't help that Shaun Phillips didn't play against Matt Cassel last night.
Man, did Marcus McNeill have a bad game or what?
Lots of fixing to be done in San Diego.
If not, they'll miss out on the playoffs for a second straight season.
Forget the stats.
