NFL Picks Week 6: Jaguars vs. Steelers and More Games to Bet the Under
In today's high-scoring and offensively-minded NFL, games beat the over more often than not. Even so, not every game is going to go over in a given week, so you can still make some money by betting the under.
It obviously isn't easy to determine which games might go under, but you're best off looking at games with strong defenses, anemic offenses or both.
Here are three Week 6 games in which you should bet the under.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Indianapolis Colts vs. Cincinnati Bengals (41)
It hasn't been often over the past decade where taking the under in a game involving the Indianapolis Colts would be advisable, but with quarterback Peyton Manning on the shelf, things have certainly changed.
Also, with rookie quarterback Andy Dalton at the helm, the Cincinnati Bengals don't have particularly great point potential either.
The Bengals also have a very underrated defense, so the Colts could find points difficult to come by despite improvement since Curtis Painter took over at quarterback. The Bengals will likely be able to move the ball with Cedric Benson on the ground, but I expect that they'll have to settle for field goals, so this game should stay under 41.
Cleveland Browns vs. Oakland Raiders (44.5)
While both the Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders would seem to be rapidly improving teams, they are both capable of mucking it up a bit. The Browns have been better offensively under new head coach Pat Shurmur, but quarterback Colt McCoy doesn't really have a great deal of weapons to help him out.
Oakland has an outstanding running game with Darren McFadden and quarterback Jason Campbell leads an opportunistic aerial attack. Both the Browns and Raiders tend to have spells of ineptitude on offense and have to settle for field goals. I expect this game to be fairly close, but it should be a pretty low-scoring affair.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (40.5)
Seeing as the Jacksonville Jaguars have yet to score more than 20 points in a game this season and the Pittsburgh Steelers still have one of the league's best defenses, the Steelers will probably have to go off on offense in order for this to be a high-scoring game.
The Jags haven't been great this year and are counting on a rookie quarterback in Blaine Gabbert, but they have at least played respectably against the Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints over the past two weeks.
Many will probably expect the Steelers to roll over the Jaguars after dominating the Tennessee Titans last week, but I think they'll come back to Earth a bit. Pittsburgh should win comfortably, but there just won't be a great deal of scoring.
