NFL Predictions Week 6: Cowboys vs. Patriots and 3 Games That Will Be Shootouts
There is no doubting the fact that Tom Brady and the New England Patriots like airing out the ball, and their opponents this week, the Dallas Cowboys, feel the same way about the aerial attack.
With the way that Brady has been throwing, and all the catches and yardage that receiver Wes Welker has been nabbing, I expect this game will be an absolute shootout.
This isn't the only game on the schedule that has the potential to produce a lot of points and not a whole lot of defense.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Let's check out some potential shootouts in Week 6:
Cowboys vs. Patriots:
Tom Brady has been on a roll in 2011, putting up almost 400 yards in every start this season. If it wasn't for his interception-filled game up in Buffalo, he would be the clear favorite for the early season MVP.
On the other side of the field is Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. While Romo is inconsistent, there is no doubting that the Cowboys' strength is in the passing game. They have some big-time playmakers who can put up a lot of yardage through the air.
Panthers vs. Falcons:
The Carolina Panthers love to throw the football, and with a weapon like Cam Newton under center, I don't blame them. Newton is the clear favorite to be the rookie of the year this season even though he's only led the Panthers to one win. He can really throw the ball, and with a rejuvenated Steve Smith hauling them in, the Panthers are looking pretty dangerous.
While the Atlanta Falcons do boast a good running game with Michael Turner, it's hard to deny that their strength is in the passing game. Matt Ryan is a very good quarterback, and he's got some very good, albeit banged-up, weapons to work with.
Bills vs. Giants:
The Bills have found a way to score plenty of points in all of their wins. With the way Ryan Fitzpatrick is throwing the ball and Fred Jackson is running it, I expect another high scoring game from Buffalo.
The New York Giants aren't just going to lie down and take it though, so Eli Manning and his finally healthy crew of wide receivers are going to have to respond with a lot of points of their own.
