NFL Power Rankings Week 5: Dallas Cowboys and the 3 Most Disappointing Teams
What is going on with the Dallas Cowboys?
Tony Romo cannot throw three interceptions in the second half if Dallas wants to legitimately contend for the NFC East crown.
They aren't the only clubs that have disappointed thus far—but let's start with Big D.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Dallas Cowboys
In Week 1, Romo's the goat after his fumble at the goal line and gift-wrapped interception to Darrelle Revis.
Then he breaks his ribs, Dallas wins in Week 2 and Week 3 and every time Romo is mentioned the word "hero" is soon to follow.
Against the Lions, up 27-3 in the third quarter, Romo imploded.
I understand you can't just run the ball over and over to milk the clock with so much time left, but why was he throwing the ball off his back foot into double coverage and late on the sideline routes that have "pick-six" written all over them?
Horrible collapse by the entire team and bad coaching.
More drama for the Cowboys.
Philadelphia Eagles
As if Vince Young wasn't already eating his "Dream Team" comment from earlier.
Another collapse at home.
It was worse for the Eagles, though.
Mike Vick was being the Vick we're used to, and the defense was making Alex Smith look like Alex Smith.
At least the Cowboys lost their lead to a team with an explosive offense.
Nothing against the 49ers, but Smith isn't Matthew Stafford.
I thought the Eagles defense was supposed to be a top-tier unit!
Minnesota Vikings
Disappointing, in a different way.
Who saw this team starting 0-4?
I didn't.
Sure, the NFC North wasn't going to be a cakewalk, but I thought they'd surprise people and make that division the most competitive in the NFL.
Adrian Peterson is still a stud, but the rest of the team—not so much.
The defense is obviously flawed, and Donovan McNabb is done.
That might be a little harsh—but come on, you can't beat the Chiefs?
Time for Christian Ponder.
