Miami Dolphins vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Miami Falls in Close One
The Miami Dolphins found themselves in the middle of a controversy Sunday afternoon against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was on the one yard-line entering the end zone, trailing by two, when he fumbled the ball and was recovered by Miami line backer Ikaika Alama-Francis.
But, the play went under review because it was ruled a Steelers' touchdown, and it was determined that Roethlisberger had fumbled it before he crossed the goal line.

Referee Gene Steratore then went on to say that they the replay was inconclusive that Miami had recovered the ball.
“I have to have clear video evidence of the team recovering the fumble,” Steratore explained to the media. “It is a pile of bodies in there, and you don’t have a clear recovery.”
With the call going Pittsburgh's way, kicker Jeff Reed nailed an 18-yard field goal to win the game.
It was blatantly obvious that the Dolphins had indeed recovered the fumble, and which would have iced the game for Miami.
Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder felt the same way: “The refs called a wonderful game—for the Steelers.”
With Miami losing the game, perhaps thank to the blown call, they fall to 3-3 on the year.
The Dolphins are a solid team, but they have lost some close ones as they sit in third place in the AFC East.
