Fred VanVleet on 'LeBronto' Jokes: 'I Don't Really Give a F--k'

Alec NathanMay 4, 2018

Fred VanVleet doesn't care for your 'LeBronto' jokes.

Asked Friday what he thinks about the memes that have emerged poking fun at the Toronto Raptors following the Cleveland Cavaliers' two series-opening victories at Air Canada Centre, VanVleet made it clear he doesn't care what social media has to say.

"How do I feel about it? I don't really give a f--k," he said, according to The Athletic's Eric Koreen

VanVleet's comments come a day after Toronto fell into an 0-2 series hole against the Cavaliers thanks to LeBron James' 43-point outburst in a 128-110 win. In the midst of that electrifying performance, ESPN play-by-play announcer Mark Jones dubbed the city 'LeBronto.'

James, who's eyeing his eighth straight trip to the NBA Finals, is averaging 34.5 points, 13.5 assists and 9.5 rebounds through the first two games against Toronto.

He'll attempt to provide VanVleet and the Raptors with more nightmare fuel when Game 3 tips off Saturday night at Quicken Loans Arena.
