Clippers' Lou Williams Scores 50 Points in 125-106 Win vs. Warriors

During Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Oracle Arena, Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant made NBA history by becoming the fifth player to tally 20,000 career points before the age of 30. 

Following Durant's achievement, the remainder of the evening largely belonged to Los Angeles guard Lou Williams

Williams scored a career-high 50 points, and the Clippers notched an impressive 125-106 win over the defending champs.

Along with posting 27 of his 50 points in the third quarter, the 31-year-old veteran shot 8-of-16 from beyond the three-point line, 16-of-27 from the field and a perfect 10-of-10 from the charity stripe. 

Williams also added seven assists and two rebounds in the victory. 

Durant scored 40 points, but it wasn't enough on a night when the Warriors were without guard Stephen Curry (ankle).
