Mike Moustakas, Justin Turner Earn 2017 MLB All-Star Game AL, NL Final Vote
Justin Turner and Mike Moustakas will be the last two players in the All-Star Game, as each won the final vote in their respective leagues, the Kansas City Royals announced Thursday.
Turner was considered one of the game's biggest snubs, but the Los Angeles Dodgers fan favorite beat out a loaded group of competitors for the last spot on the National League roster, including Anthony Rendon, Mark Reynolds, Justin Bour and reigning NL MVP Kris Bryant.
This will be the first-ever All-Star appearance for the 32-year-old.

Moustakas earned more votes than Xander Bogaerts, Didi Gregorius, Elvis Andrus and Logan Morrison to get his second All-Star nod.
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports broke down the final order in the player vote:
Turner was slowed at one point this season by a hamstring strain, but he leads all major leaguers with at least 250 plate appearances in batting average (.384) and on-base percentage (.473).
Baseball Reference noted how rare his season has been:
He's now earned his rightful spot at the Midsummer Classic after closer Kenley Jansen blamed Dodgers fans for not voting him in the first time, via Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times.
Meanwhile, Moustakas is in the midst of a career year with his 25 home runs already the most in any season of his seven in the league. Entering Thursday, only New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge had more.
While injuries could still affect the rosters before Tuesday's game in Marlins Park, the teams are set with Turner and Moustakas earning their deserved places in the exhibition.
