Wilmer Flores Criticizes Yasiel Puig in Postgame Comments After Loss to Dodgers
Yasiel Puig took time to admire his three-run home run in the fourth inning of the Los Angeles Dodgers' 8-2 win over the New York Mets on Wednesday, and it turns out Wilmer Flores didn't appreciate the slugger's showboating.
"I don't think he knows what having respect for the game is," Flores told reporters after the game, according to the New York Times' James Wagner.

"We're playing horrible. I know. But we don't need this s--t," he added.
Furthermore, Flores said he told Puig to simply run the bases since he was taking his time rounding the diamond, at which point Puig allegedly responded with a "F--k you" directed at the Mets infielder.
Flores wasn't the only one who had words for Puig.
In addition to catcher Travis d'Arnaud—who confronted Puig when he reached home plate—Jose Reyes and Yoenis Cespedes were seen talking to Puig in the aftermath of the incident.
To add insult to injury, Wednesday's loss represented the Mets' third straight and sixth in their last seven games overall.
The Dodgers, meanwhile, are in the midst of a six-game winning streak that has propelled them 0.5 games clear of the Colorado Rockies atop the National League West.
The two sides will wrap up their four-game set at Dodger Stadium on Thursday (10:10 p.m. ET), and all eyes will be on Mets starter Steven Matz with retaliation a possibility.
