Little League World Series 2026 Wednesday Scores, Bracket Results and Highlights

Wednesday was another action-packed day in Williamsport as four more teams advanced in the Little League World Series bracket.

Here's a look at the scores for Wednesday's action, as well as a recap of how the day went for each team.

Recaps and Highlights

Curaçao def. Latin America, 12-3

Curaçao snuck past the Asia-Pacific Region by scoring just one run. It was a completely different story on Wednesday.

After both teams went scoreless in the first inning, Curaçao exploded for 10 runs in the top of the second. The team built a seven-run lead, and a bases-loaded single from Raymiel Antonia drove in three more runs.

Latin America managed to get three runs across in the bottom of the fourth, but Curaçao tacked on two more in the top of the sixth thanks to an RBI single from Q'Jeaume Valks to officially put things out of reach.

Mountain def. Midwest, 14-6

Despite a pitching masterclass from Cooper Thissen, Midwest couldn't get it done on Tuesday.

Thissen pitched the first 3.2 innings, logging 10 strikeouts and giving up no hits along the way, but once he came out, things got out of hand quickly.

The Mountain Region quickly scored four runs in the top of the fourth on an RBI double, an RBI single and a wild pitch before tacking on another in the fifth. The Mountain offense then exploded in the top of the sixth, scoring another nine runs to put things well out of reach for the Midwest.

The Midwest started to rally with two outs in the final frame, driving in six runs in the bottom of the sixth, but it didn't have quite enough to come all the way back.

The Mountain Region will now move on to the U.S. Championship.

Japan def. Canada, 7-3

Canada has put together a strong Little League World Series run, but Japan was ultimately too much.

Japan came out hot, scoring four runs in the bottom of the second. Taiga Yumitori then hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the third to make it a commanding 7-0 lead.

Canada managed to cut into the lead in the bottom of the third with an RBI single from Felix Hoyano before scoring two more runs in the top of the fifth, but it didn't have quite enough to rally to a win.

Japan will now take on Latin America with the chance to move on to the international final.

Great Lakes def. Southeast, 11-2

Led by an explosive offensive performance, Great Lakes picked up a lopsided 11-2 win over Southeast in the final game of the day.

Great Lakes set the tone early, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. This included a pair of bases-loaded walks.

While Southeast responded with one run in the bottom of the first, Great Lakes extended the team's lead to 7-1 with RBI singles from Bob Frazier and Finn Dykes in the top of the third.

Southeast scored another run in the same frame, but couldn't come any closer before the final result was sealed.

Great Lakes thrived at the plate, finishing with eight walks and 12 hits as a team.

Bryson Williams led the way, as he went 3-for-4 while scoring a run. Williams also pitched four innings, amassing four strikeouts and allowing one earned run.

Great Lakes and Midwest will now face off for a spot in the U.S. Championship Game.
