Fantasy Football 2026 Consensus Mock Draft and Undervalued Sleepers to Target

Groupthink isn't always the most reliable voice in the fantasy football world.

It certainly is the loudest, though.

That's why things like consensus rankings and average draft position data carry so much weight. They may not guarantee where players will go in a specific draft, but they do paint a pretty clear picture of a player's draft range.

To help fill in that picture, we'll lay out a three-round, 12-team PPR mock draft with each selection made by the strict guidance of consensus expert rankings featured on FantasyPros. Then, we'll close by spotlighting a couple of our favorite sleeper values for the 2026 NFL season.

Sleeper: Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers

Purdy has consistently produced some of the highest fantasy points per game averages. For reasons known only to them, fantasy managers still seem skeptical of his overall profile.

On the heels of three consecutive top-10 finishes at the position, Purdy is somehow only QB13 in average draft position, per FantasyPros. There's already a bargain baked into that cost, but it might just be a ridiculous one, considering he finished the 2025 campaign as QB6 in points per game.

Is availability the worry after Purdy played only nine games last season? Maybe, but he also made 31 appearances over the previous two campaigns combined, so if that is the concern, then it's overblown.

Maybe folks don't love the age and injury risks of some of his top playmakers, but if enough of those players stay upright, Purdy will have a special collection of talent around him. Whatever the holdup, the good news is you don't have to entertain it and can just pounce on the obvious value Purdy provides.

Sleeper: Kenny Gainwell, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Gainwell was a machine down the stretch for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. Between Weeks 11 and 18, he tallied the sixth-most PPR fantasy points at the position.

The Buccaneers clearly took notice of that. Not long after that surge, they got Gainwell's signature on a two-year, $14 million deal.

That's enough money to imagine the Buccaneers have a significant role set aside for Gainwell. Maybe the early downs still predominantly go to starter Bucky Irving, but Gainwell could handle the bulk (if not all) of the passing-down duties.

Gainwell, by the way, is good enough to challenge Irving for some of those early down snaps as well. And if Irving misses any time (he played just 10 games last season), Gainwell might have RB1 upside during any spot starts.
