Andre Iguodala Says He Didn't Feel LeBron James' Kick on Failed Tying 3-Pointer

Golden State Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala told ESPN's Chris B. Haynes on Thursday that he didn't feel LeBron James' foot hit his groin following James' failed game-tying three-point attempt late in the fourth quarter. 

"You know what’s crazy? I did not feel it," Iguodala said. 

"When I look back at it, I was like, 'Oh, I didn’t even know this happened.' Somebody told me about it. I didn’t know what happened, but I’m not going to be the one to say someone should not play, because you want everybody to be at full strength, right?"

The play in question occurred when Iguodala stripped James with 12.9 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter as the Cleveland Cavaliers attempted to tie things up down 116-113: 

Citing a league source, Haynes reported the league office is not looking into LeBron's inadvertent kick and that he will not face discipline in advance of Game 4. 

Iguodala also said James' action is one that's fairly common across the league and not worth making a fuss over, as evidenced by the number of times Warriors forward Draymond Green has been targeted for accidentally kicking opponents. 

"What they say, Draymond did it how many times last year? ... Throughout the whole season last year? They did a mix tape. It was like 100 [times]. Guys don’t even notice it," he said. "So when it happens, guys are like [nothing]. Especially in that moment, adrenaline is flowing."

With the kick something of an afterthought, Iguodala and the Warriors will shift their attention to Friday night's closeout game as they seek to become the first team in league history to go 16-0 over the course of a postseason.
