Dejan Lovren Reportedly Travels to Germany for Treatment on Knee Injury
Liverpool have been dealt a big blow as centre-back Dejan Lovren has reportedly travelled to Germany for treatment on a persistent knee injury.
According to Chris Bascombe of the Daily Telegraph, the Croatia international has already missed several games with the injury and further help is needed. Per the report, he was already in pain during the last matches he played.
Lovren, 27, will now likely miss crucial upcoming fixtures against Leicester City and Arsenal.

The former Southampton defender has become a key part of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's back line and formed a strong partnership with summer signing Joel Matip.

The Reds defence is still not as solid as it should be, but Lovren is one of its more consistent performers, and he has improved significantly on his disastrous debut season at Anfield.
He has started 20 of Liverpool's 25 Premier League matches so far this term.
Klopp has cover to call upon in the shape of Matip and Ragnar Klavan, while Emre Can and Lucas Leiva can also be utilised at centre-back if needed. Lucas, in particular, played well in the 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
But Lovren's experience and expertise in the position make him hard to replace.
As a result, Klopp and Liverpool will be eager to see him return to action as soon as possible.
