Brock Osweiler to Start vs. Steelers: Latest Comments and Reaction
The Denver Broncos announced Brock Osweiler will be under center in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Osweiler is 3-1 while filling in for Peyton Manning since the former MVP suffered a foot injury prior to a Week 10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He has performed well enough to keep the Broncos on top in the AFC West, but a stellar defense that has allowed the fewest points in the NFL has carried the team to its 10-3 record.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Head coach Gary Kubiak announced the 39-year-old Manning, who still leads the NFL with 17 interceptions, will practice for the first time in a month on Wednesday.
Per DenverBroncos.com's Andrew Mason, Kubiak said Manning will test his injured foot this week even though he isn't playing:
"I've got to see where [Manning] is at. We've got to talk through his situation, where we're at, and talk to 'Greek' [Head Athletic Trainer Steve Antonopulos].
We went through a good week last week. We gave him the weekend off, so we'll see where we're at. We'll have a plan in place by the time we get to Wednesday, but we'll see where we're at today, and kind of take it a day at a time.
"
In his four starts—and the second half of the game against the Chiefs—Osweiler has thrown five touchdowns and three interceptions. Manning was having the worst season of his career before suffering the injury, throwing nine touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
The Denver offensive line has been poor this season as well, and the running game has been inconsistent at best. However, Evan Silva of Rotoworld has not been impressed with Osweiler, who threw for 308 yards but no touchdowns in a Week 14 loss to the Oakland Raiders:
While he may not be throwing downfield, Osweiler has protected the ball better than Manning this year, which is a must for a struggling offense.
Manning may get another shot, but for now, the Broncos will have to hang on to their two-game lead over the Chiefs with their fourth-year backup out of Arizona State under center.
