Latest on Robinson's Practice Status

The Redskins announced Robinson was limited in practice for the second-straight day.
Injury Disrupts Robinson's Development
Robinson is the Redskins' second-leading tackler in 2015 with 51 total tackles to go with one interception in eight starts. But he wasn't supposed to see this much time this season.
Per John Keim of ESPN.com, injuries to Jeron Johnson and Duke Ihenacho gave Robinson the chance to become a regular in Washington's secondary.
Johnson returned and has played in all nine games this season but hasn't started, recording 10 total tackles. Head coach Jay Gruden's decision was to reward Robinson for his play.
"It’s more a reflection on how well Trenton’s played,” Gruden told Keim back in September. “Not to say Jeron is doing poorly; we just think Trenton is doing good."
In Week 10, though, Robinson did not appear at safety in the Redskins' blowout of the New Orleans Saints—playing in just 20 special teams snaps, per the Washington Post's Master Tesfatsion. Instead, No. 1 safety Dashon Goldson was joined by Johnson.
They'll have their hands full trying to defend Eli Manning and the Giants offense, and Johnson's play recognition will have to be on point in order to help support the defense against the run game.
