Week 11 NFL Betting Picks: Packers, Cowboys, Bears Top ATS Selections

OddsShark.comNov 19, 2015

The Green Bay Packers (6-3) continued to disappoint their backers last week with a surprising home loss as double-digit favorites against the Detroit Lions (2-7), their third in a row following a 6-0 start.

But Sunday, they play their biggest game of the season on the road versus the NFC North-leading Minnesota Vikings (7-2), who have covered the spread in eight straight games. Can Green Bay finally end its skid at Minnesota?

The Vikings are one-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark but have been close to losing each of their past five games, including last week’s 30-14 road victory against the Oakland Raiders, who were within a touchdown until the last four minutes.

They are 0-4 straight up and against the spread in their last four games in Week 11, while the Packers are 7-2-1 SU in their past 10 following a loss. Green Bay will pull off the upset as a small road dog.

The Dallas Cowboys (2-7) have not won since quarterback Tony Romo went down with a broken collarbone. They were 2-0 when Romo was declared out for a significant amount of time, but he will finally make his return this week on the road versus the Miami Dolphins (4-5).

The Cowboys still have an outside shot at the NFC East title, with the New York Giants leading the division at 5-5, and beating the Dolphins in a pick’em game will keep their slim postseason hopes alive. With Miami dropping two of three to fall back below the .500 mark, look for Dallas to come through and win for the fifth time in six meetings.

Finally, you never would have thought the Chicago Bears (4-5) would be favored against the Denver Broncos (7-2) a month ago. But the Bears have won two in a row and four of six, and have a perfect 3-0 record this season against the AFC West.

That is especially noteworthy because Chicago’s John Fox is the former head coach of the Broncos, so he knows that team better than anybody outside of Denver.

The Broncos will be without quarterback Peyton Manning, giving Brock Osweiler the start in his place. Fox drafted Osweiler when he was in Denver, so back the Bears to cover as one-point home favorites.
