NFL Week 11 Betting Odds: Packers Small Underdogs, Broncos Small Favorites

OddsShark.comNov 16, 2015

Two teams that were unbeaten and among the favorites to win Super Bowl 50 just a few weeks ago are now facing tough road battles in Week 11 to avoid extending their losing streaks.

The Green Bay Packers (6-3) suffered a 29-10 loss to the Denver Broncos (7-2) in the Week 8 Sunday night game and have not won since then. The Packers have given up the lead in the NFC North to the Minnesota Vikings (7-2), who will host them in a huge divisional showdown as one-point home betting favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

Meanwhile, the Broncos have also dropped two in a row following that big win over Green Bay, with quarterback Peyton Manning already ruled out for Sunday’s matchup with the Chicago Bears (4-5) at Soldier Field.

According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport (via NFL.com), Manning is dealing with a plantar fascia injury and will be replaced by Brock Osweiler against the Bears after one of the worst performances of his career in a 29-13 home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week.

Denver opened as three-point road chalk but has moved closer to a pick’em with Manning out, as most sportsbooks have the team favored between one and two points.

Seven other games have lines of three points or less in Week 11, setting up for one of the most competitive slates of NFL games for football bettors to wager on this season.

The Thursday night matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-6) and Tennessee Titans (2-7) is one of them, with both teams surprisingly still in the hunt for the AFC South crown because the first-place Indianapolis Colts have a losing record.

The Jaguars are consensus three-point home favorites versus the Titans, who have earned both of their wins on the road. Neither has won a divisional game so far.

The other six games with small point spreads include the Oakland Raiders (-1.5) at Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys at Miami Dolphins (pick’em), St. Louis Rams at Baltimore Ravens (pick’em), New York Jets (-2.5) at Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs (-3) at San Diego Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals (-3).
