Eli Manning Passes Phil Simms for Most Wins in Giants History with 96
Erase Phil Simms, and write Eli Manning. That's the way the New York Giants' passing records have been going for years now. On Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Manning took down Simms once more, passing the Giants legend for the most victories in franchise history.

Manning already owns the franchise record for passing yards, touchdowns and interceptions. He passed Simms for the former two accomplishments and Charlie Conerly for the latter.
The two-time Super Bowl winner threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns against as many interceptions in Sunday's 32-18 win over Tampa Bay. He's in the midst of perhaps his finest season overall, tossing 19 touchdowns against six interceptions through the first nine weeks.
With a 5-4 record, the Giants now hold a full-game lead over the Philadelphia Eagles as they head into their game against the Dallas Cowboys. If things keep trending the way they are now, it's likely the Giants will make the playoffs and have a chance for Manning to unseat Simms for the most Super Bowl victories in franchise history.
Who knows? Maybe then Simms will finally recognize Manning as an elite quarterback.
