Brady Breaks Patriots Record for Most Regular-Season Starts
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made the 213th regular-season start of his career in Sunday's 30-23 win over the New York Jets, breaking offensive tackle Bruce Armstrong's franchise record of 212 starts in a Patriots uniform, per the team's official website.
Armstrong, the 23rd overall selection in the 1987 NFL draft, spent his entire 14-year career with the Patriots, starting every game he played from 1987 to 2000.
The last year of his career overlapped with the first season of Brady's, but the two never started a game together, as Brady didn't get his first start until Week 3 of the 2001 season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With the exception of 2008, when he suffered a torn ACL in Week 1, Brady has started every regular-season and playoff game for the Patriots since making his first start.
He's put up some impressive numbers along the way, most notably during his record-breaking 2007 campaign and now again in 2015.
Among qualified NFL quarterbacks, the 38-year-old ranks first in passing touchdowns (16), second in passing yards (2,054), fifth in completion percentage (68.9), fourth in yards per attempt (8.2) and third in passer rating (113.2).
Brady is also on pace to tie Peyton Manning's single-season record of 5,477 passing yards, and he's the only qualified quarterback with just one interception.
