NFL Week 6 Betting Odds Picks: Take Dolphins, Bears and 49ers as Underdogs
The Miami Dolphins (1-3) are coming off a much-needed bye week and will have a new head coach on the sidelines in Dan Campbell after Joe Philbin was fired following their brutal 27-14 loss to the New York Jets in London.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears (2-3) and San Francisco 49ers (1-4) also have new head coaches this year who seem to be finally forming an identity with their teams heading into Week 6 of the NFL season.
All three teams are good underdog picks to not only cover, but also win their games.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
First, the Dolphins are visiting the Tennessee Titans (1-3) as consensus 2.5-point road underdogs on Sunday, according to sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. While Miami clearly struggled under Philbin, going 1-8 against the spread in its last nine games, Tennessee has won only one of its past 14 games overall.
The Titans are also just 2-13-1 ATS in their previous 16 home games, according to the Odds Shark NFL Database. The Dolphins will win this one.
Next, we have the Bears, who are riding a two-game winning streak following an 0-3 start. Chicago has not done anything incredibly impressive in earning consecutive victories over the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs—two AFC West teams John Fox knew well when he was the head coach of the Denver Broncos—by a combined three points.
But the Bears are playing the winless Detroit Lions (0-5) this week on the road, and Fox would love nothing more than to notch his first divisional win before the team’s bye week. The Lions have lost seven in a row dating back to last season and gone 0-5 ATS in their last five home games during the month of October.
Finally, the 49ers are no longer Jim Harbaugh’s team. That is obvious by watching them now while Harbaugh is busy turning around the Michigan Wolverines. Instead, his former defensive line coach, Jim Tomsula, has taken charge of San Francisco and will have his team pumped up for a Super Bowl XLVII rematch with the Baltimore Ravens (1-4).
The 49ers and Ravens have not met since that big game, and former Baltimore wide receivers Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith are now on the other side. Bolden and Smith will lead their new team to an upset win in an extra-large revenge spot.
