Beckham Sets Record for Receiving Yards Through 16 Career Games
Despite catching just five passes for 38 yards on 12 targets, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. set an NFL record Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, finishing the contest with the most receiving yards by any player through the first 16 games of a career, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Beckham actually came out of the gates pretty strong Sunday afternoon, catching three passes for 24 yards within the first nine minutes of the game.
However, he and quarterback Eli Manning had a number of miscommunications throughout the contest, and the Giants defense ultimately carried most of the weight in a surprising 24-10 win.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Beckham, who missed the first four games of his rookie season with a hamstring injury, has 115 catches for 1,612 yards and 14 touchdowns on 173 targets through the first 16 games of his career. He hasn't been quite so impressive through the first four games of this season, yet he's quietly on pace to catch 96 passes for 1,228 yards and eight touchdowns on 164 targets.
Even if he doesn't quite live up to his historic 12-game stretch as a rookie, Beckham is seemingly entrenched for the foreseeable future as one of the three or four best wide receivers in the NFL.
For the season, he's tied for 17th in receptions (24) and receiving yards (307), and tied for 10th in targets.
