Jake Paul 'Not Really That Hyped' for Potential Tommy Fury Rematch, 'I'm The Only Big Fight for Him'
Whenever Jake Paul gets back into the boxing ring, it doesn't sound like he will try to avenge the first professional loss of his career in a rematch with Tommy Fury.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Paul admitted he's "not really that hyped" for the possibility of fighting Fury again.
"I'm the only big fight for him, the only payday for him," Paul said, and at the end of the day, I have people like Francis Ngannou, and the list goes on of all these people that wanna fight me."
Paul revealed earlier this week that he is targeting late 2026 or early 2027 for his next fight after undergoing a second surgery on his jaw that was broken in his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua on Dec. 19.
"I got my second surgery recently and the doctor said it will be four, five or six months to even be able to spar to see how the bone is healing," Paul said "So that puts us maybe late this year or early next year for a fight."
Paul cited former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou as a potential future opponent, telling TMZ the bout "would be massive."
Ngannou joined Paul's Most Valuable Promotions team this week and will compete on the May 16 mixed martial arts show headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano.
Fury defeated Paul by split decision in February 2023 in what was the seventh professional bout of Paul's career at that point. Fury has only fought once since 2024, defeating Kenan Hanjalic via unanimous decision in May 2025.
Paul is 12-2 in 14 professional boxing matches, with seven wins via knockout or TKO.
