Another Claressa Shields fight. Another chance at history.

Shields, audaciously self-tagged as boxing's "GWOAT"—Greatest Woman of All Time—makes her second appearance of the calendar year with a chance to renew a championship claim in one of five weight classes she's already conquered.

The 31-year-old Michigan native has captured belts at 154, 160, 168 and 175 pounds in addition to heavyweight, and she'll return to 160 to meet reigning WBA/WBC claimant Kaye Scott atop a card at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Shields last fought at middleweight in 2023, when she outpointed Maricela Cornejo over 10 rounds while defending the WBA, WBC and IBF belts. She's fought and won eight title fights in the weight class since her first title fight at 160 in 2018.

Shields is ranked second on Ring Magazine's women's pound-for-pound list, trailing only Katie Taylor. Scott is unranked.
